Week Fourteen – Filled with the Spirit of Jesus
…until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ. - Ephesians 4:13
One of our greatest fears to surrender our lives to Jesus is the sense of losing the ‘self’. That fear is as real as the sun; but by emptying ourselves, we become eligible to be filled up with Jesus. We cannot expect to be filled with the Spirit of Jesus if our cup is not empty.
Whether we’re called to lead one person, a family, a city or a nation to the Lord Jesus-Christ, we must be conformed to His image. Transforming revival of a nation starts with personal revival and transformation. It’s impossible to achieve transforming revival with our own strength; we need the power of Jesus to sustain us in what can rather be a long journey. Because it is ‘Not by might nor by power, but by my Spirit,’ says the Lord Almighty.
Question to discuss

Ask the Lord through the Holy Spirit to help you and the people of Haiti to become mature and conformed to the image of His Son Jesus-Christ through.
